By Oliver Farirayi   Sun, Apr 26, 2009

Take off africa.com has entered the aviation market two years ago and have now become Africa’s leading aviation and travel news portal. We aim in future to broaden our reach, offer a higher frequency to our ever-increasing loyal audience within a credible environment.

Take off africa.com is destined to become the leading aviation news service on Africa and beyond providing comprehensive English coverage of aviation, travel, sports news and other majority interest areas.

Take off africa.com offers a great way to getting a delivery and access to the latest aviation latest news and information including the latest breaking World news. The majority of our viewers access our site through an aviation work environment, providing advertisers with an economically active and affluent base of prospects.

The site is also structured to offer greater depth of content of interest areas in the aviation ad travel industry and also serving as a gateway for consumers to explore their options further. We fulfil this role by providing a database and easy to use links of many aviation and travel service providers.

It’s not long before world attention turns to Africa for developing business linkages and this is even more so true about aviation and tourism. Civil aviation authorities have been born out of what previously was bureaucratic and inefficient government departments and the new authorities are proving their worth by operating profitably, efficiently and still managing to provide a safe environment for aviation to prosper in.

Airlines in the region have gone onto partnerships with bigger and better funded international airlines who in turn have brought in greater choice and better service to the consumer and above all the necessary funding needed to upgrade fleet and maintenance facilities. Some of the airlines are transforming at a very quick pace towards professionalism and safety conscious operations.

Airports are being renovated and newer once built in order to accommodate the growth in passenger and cargo traffic, which is envisaged to keep on the rise in this century and beyond. Partnerships are being sought or are already in place to satisfy this sudden demand for investors and technological transfers.

To augment all this present and future developments training of personnel is of paramount importance. Training in aviation is expensive and has to meet very high standards. The demand for training has opened the doors of opportunities to overseas trainers and manufactures of various simulators used by Pilots and air traffic controller to train towards attaining qualifications and licenses. The opportunities in this are whilst they have been exploited there still remains a much bigger and more challenging opportunities, to be exploited and developed.

It is with the above mentioned view that Take off africa.com has been born to act as the link to all interested parties who wish to make their presence in Africa . Although our offices are based in the United Kingdom, we have several associates on the ground in Africa keeping us up to speed to events as they happen.
